Each year in March, we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) which is designated by the United Nations as a special day to provide an opportunity to reflect on the advancements made by women, to consider the challenges faced today, and to assess our role in the future.

2015 also marks the 20th Anniversary of Singapore having signed the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
