Every March, we celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) with a gala dinner and the Singapore Women's Hall of Fame induction ceremony. IWD was designated by the UN in 1975 as a special day to reflect on the advancements made by women, to consider the challenges faced today, and to access our role in the future.
The SWHF was launched by SCWO in 2014 to recognise and salute the outstanding women of Singapore. It is the celebration of the women who have made, or are making, an impact on our nation - the boundary-breakers and record-holders, the risk-takers and change-makers, the role-models and standard-setters.
